How To DIY Almond Face Mask For The Glowing Face

Almonds are considered to be one of the most prized snacks in the world.  Packed with a variety of vitamins and minerals, it is easy to see why the almond is present on almost every continent and the health benefits of this little nut have long been touted by experts.

The almond contains about 26 percent carbohydrates, 12 percent of which are dietary fiber.  About 20 percent of a raw almond is made up of high-quality protein, containing essential amino acids. Almonds Are Loaded With Antioxidants and Are High in Vitamin E, Which Protects Your Cell Membranes From Damage. Also the magnesium in almonds may help to lower blood pressure and LDL Cholesterol “bad cholesterol” levels.

Almond has several beauty benefits also. Skin looks flawless and glowing by consumption of almonds. A face mask   made by using almond helps in whitening the skin and in removing scars on the face made by pimples and acne. It nourishes and rejuvenates the skin which helps to reduce wrinkles and fine lines.

How to make a facial mask

Ingredients:
·        1 Tbsp. almond oil
·        1 HONEYSTICK 
·        1 Tbsp. lemon juice
 
Mix the ingredients to make the mask in a small container to create a paste that you can apply all over your face with your fingers. Apply the mask in the morning and then let it sit for 30 minutes before you wash it off with warm water.

Almond oil is packed with antioxidants, high in vitamins E, A, D and B, contains protein, essential minerals and healthy fats as well. It is also rich in oleic and linoleic acids. Due to its high nutrient-contents, this oil is used as a skin care product. It is used not only for skin and face care, but also as a medicinal oil and for treating some skin disorders.

To make an almond oil you will need a blender and:
·     2 cups unroasted almonds
·     1-2 tsp. olive oil

Instruction:
Place the almonds into your blender. The almonds should be dry and fresh. Blend them at low speed at first. As they get more and more blended, you can turn your blender up to medium or even high speed. Once the almonds have been blended into a rich, creamy paste, then you can add a teaspoon of olive oil to speed up the blending process. Once you've finished blending the almonds, you can use a sieve or a strainer to separate the oil from the almonds. You can use the oil to treat your skin or for aromatherapy purposes.
