Sun Protection Smoothie

Try drinking this sun protection smoothie before spending time out in the sun. 
It is full of antioxidants, healthy fats, omega 3s, and other important nutrients your skin needs to protect itself from sun damage.

  • 1/3 cup water 
  • 1 green tea bags (brew the tea the night before so it’s well-chilled in the morning)
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 3/4 cup vanilla yogurt 
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 2 ice cubes

Blueberries have a dark skin and high content of antioxidants and when we consume them, they help protect us from the sun's radiation.

Honey boasts a plethora of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, active enzymes, and probiotics to help our entire system function smoothly. It possesses strong antimicrobial and skin healing properties.

Flaxseed are another rich source of omega-3 fatty acids aiding in skin healing and keeping skin membranes smooth and functioning optimally.
