In competition with 2500 projects from 180 countries, Macedonian Honey received the prestigious world award for the project "Beekeeping against climate change"

Speaker at the second International Forum "The Bee a symbol of life, friendship and peace", presenting "sustainable beekeeping practices by using digital technologies". The Forum was attended by public figures, businessmen, scientists, famous beekeepers, representatives for the cultural community from Russia, Slovenia, India, Algeria, Belarus, Mongolia, South Korea and other foreign countries. It was a great honour and pleasure to meet with Arnold Butov President of the Russian National Union of Beekeepers and other distinguished guests and speakers.

Organized by the Organic Beekeeping Association and the “Golden Honey” Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry of the Republic of Bulgaria and with the participation of the Commissioner for Digitization of Economy and Society Maria Gabriel. A modern European conference focused on digitization in an agricultural sector as beekeeping and the guidelines for development in such a digital environment is now very much needed for European beekeepers. The conference should define conceptually the possibilities for introducing digital technologies in beekeeping but also to present the future directions of activities of national and regional beekeeping associations.

Macedonian Honey, has won the StartUp Europe Award at European level in the Climate category for its project for the conservation of honey bees, whose objective is to improve the sustainability of the ecosystem and its biodiversity, which would represent an impulse to slow down the effects of climate change.
